Overview

Biz-E-Bee Plumbing & Rooter INC, referred to here as "Biz-E-Bee," "we," "us," or "our," respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through bizebeeplumbing.com, through phone calls and text messages, and in the course of performing plumbing work, and what we do with it.

The short version: we collect what we need to get a plumber to your door and follow up on the job. We do not sell your information, and we never share your mobile number or your text messaging consent with anyone for their marketing.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

When you submit a form, call, text, or book service, we collect the details you provide:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number, including your mobile number
  • Your email address, when you give one
  • Your service address, city, or ZIP code
  • The service you need and anything you tell us about the problem
  • Job records, including invoices, quotes, photos of the work area, and warranty details

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours collects some technical information automatically when you visit, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, and the campaign tags in the link you clicked. See the Cookies and Analytics section below.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Call or text you back about your service request
  • Schedule, dispatch, and complete plumbing work
  • Send appointment confirmations, technician arrival updates, quotes, and invoices
  • Answer questions and handle warranty and follow-up service
  • Keep records required for our license, insurance, and tax obligations
  • Understand which pages and ads bring in service calls so we can improve the site
  • Detect and prevent fraud, spam form submissions, and abuse

Text Messaging and Mobile Information

When you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we use it to send you service messages about a job you asked us to do, including callbacks, technician dispatch and arrival updates, appointment confirmations and reminders, quotes, and invoices. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

We do not share your mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties, and are excluded from all information sharing described elsewhere in this policy.

Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services on our behalf, such as the messaging platform that delivers the texts, is permitted solely so those messages can be sent. Those providers may not use your information for their own purposes.

You can stop our text messages at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your service request. Full details are in our SMS Text Messaging Terms.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • With service providers who work on our behalf, such as our scheduling and dispatch software, our website and database hosting, our email and text messaging platforms, and our payment and financing partners. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
  • With technicians and subcontractors assigned to your job, so they can perform the work.
  • When you ask us to, for example when we send your quote to your insurer or home warranty company.
  • When the law requires it, including in response to a subpoena, court order, or lawful request from a government or licensing authority.
  • To protect our rights, our property, or the safety of our team or the public.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business, in which case your information would transfer under the same protections described here.

As stated above, mobile numbers and text messaging consent are excluded from marketing related sharing entirely.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to measure which pages and ads produce service calls. The tools we use include:

  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, to see how visitors use the site.
  • Google Ads conversion tracking, to see which ads produce calls and form submissions.
  • The Meta pixel, to measure and improve advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

These providers may set their own cookies and receive information about your visit under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers offer a Do Not Track setting. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep customer and job records for as long as needed to service the account, honor warranties, and meet the record keeping requirements that apply to a licensed California contractor, including tax and insurance obligations. Leads that never become customers are kept for a reasonable period for follow-up and then removed. If you opt out of text messages, we keep a record of that opt-out so we do not text you again.

How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections on this website and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as bank details or Social Security numbers through the website forms.

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended gives you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it.
  • Request a copy of that information.
  • Request that we correct inaccurate information.
  • Request that we delete your information, subject to the records we are required to keep.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To make a request, call us at 888-333-1976 or email info@bizebeeplumbing.com. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time the law allows.

Children

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. If we make a material change to how we handle your information, we will make that clear on this page.
